I’ve been here 3 times, each time I was pleased with the speed, price and attention to detail. I got a wash, deep condition, cut, blow dry and flat iron. I like that it’s a small personal salon, I liked having her work 1:1 with me. I have curly hair and I have a lot of it! Each time I was pleased with her ability to get my hair styled straight without too much heat or product. It’s important to go to a stylist who understands your hair texture. I didn’t have any communication issues and scheduled via email. I hope to schedule again in 2023.

Marquieta Mitchell is a fraud. She was hired to do a job - wedding styles for 9/17/22. Long story short she requested a deposit of $175.00. In the end I didn't agree on her tone. So I requested a refund. She said sure and here we are - NO refund. DO NOT ZELLE HER SHE WILL DISAPPEAR!! She is unethical, unprofessional and needs her moral compass reset. Now I am in the pursuit of justice...

Rude business owner. Would not schedule due To poor communication. I mentioned my concerns and it became a argument. Would NOT recommend. To explain further, the moment I asked about the disconnect, the owner became rude. I was already in front of the salon and the last thing I expected was the phone to be hung up with no solution. I wasn’t rude, I asked a question and the conversation shifted. I did not expect anything but I also didn’t deserve a very rude call. The response below would have been fine, but that wasn’t the response the owner provided. I was surprised more than anything.

A very disappointing service! The owner does not show respect for her customers, nor does she show interest or attention to what the client asks of her. Obviously, I WOULD NOT recommend it, since the owner cannot provide the service one really seeks!
