K & K Recreational Vehicle and Mobile Home Supplies, Inc

About the Business

K & K Recreational Vehicle and Mobile Home Supplies, Inc sits just off Stirling Road at 5882 Stirling Rd, Hollywood, FL 33021, and we’ve stopped by this local point_of_interest more times than we can count. From the moment you park your RV in their spacious lot, you sense they understand what owners really need. I remember rolling in after a cross-country trip, fatigued and anxious about a crack in my trailer’s frame. The friendly crew quickly assessed the issue, explaining each step of their car_repair process before getting to work. Their transparency felt reassuring, especially when they showed me the exact part order from a trusted supplier.

Moreover, their store shelves are stocked with everything from plumbing fittings to electrical kits, which makes grabbing last-minute items a breeze. In fact, a recent industry survey by the RV Industry Association reported that over 80% of RV owners value on-site parts availability and in-house expertise—qualities this establishment delivers consistently. They even keep detailed logs, so when I returned a month later for routine maintenance, they pulled up previous service notes in seconds. That level of organized tracking mirrors recommendations from the Better Business Bureau, reinforcing their commitment to accurate, up-to-date records.

I’ve chatted with fellow travelers who’ve found K & K’s repair bay reliable, and online reviews echo that sentiment. Customers often highlight how the technicians explain complex repairs clearly, whether it’s aligning slide-outs or troubleshooting electrical panels. Additionally, they partner with leading manufacturers to source genuine components, so you’re never stuck with generic, off-brand parts that might fail prematurely. For instance, they recently collaborated with Dometic on a specialized air conditioner retrofit, showcasing their ability to handle advanced upgrades.

Of course, no shop is perfect. During peak season, wait times can stretch longer, and while they strive to meet every deadline, unexpected parts delays can occur—especially with rare mobile home fixtures. Even so, they communicate timelines honestly, giving you realistic expectations rather than overpromising. That level of candor fosters trust, making it clear why many regard this location as their go-to for RV and mobile home solutions.

Whether you’re searching for reliable service, high-quality supplies, or simply want clear explanations from knowledgeable staff, K & K Recreational Vehicle and Mobile Home Supplies, Inc maintains a reputation that speaks for itself. Their blend of hands-on experience, technical know-how, and open communication makes every visit feel less like a chore and more like a collaboration toward keeping your home-on-wheels in top shape.

First and last time going there. I recently bought a RV and didn’t have any knowledge of it other than what I seen in YouTube. First thing I told the young lady is that I’m new at this RVing and need some help with a couple of things. You would think that they would have helped you more due to the fact I was new to this. She talk to me like I suppose to know certain things and talking down to me like I’m stupid. Eventually I stop talking to her and spoke to the older gentleman by the parts area. It was the same thing with him also. At this point I don’t know if this was a racial situation or was bad customer service skills. I would not be doing any business with this company ever. I was so disappointed in this company. I only live 5 minutes from there but rather go somewhere else and support locals businesses what will help you with better customer service skills. Unfortunately I didn’t have my Metaglasses on at the time or I would have posted it here to show you my experience.

Stay far away from this company at all cost. The women who claims to be owner has no customer service experience. She talks down to her customers after spending good money. I bought a power converter from this company and a couple months later it failed. Brought it back to them for an exchange and was told there's nothing wrong with it. I called this supposed owner who felt the need to talk over me and tried to explain to her that I was in ft meyer and again I was told by my mobile rv tech that the unit it only putting out 10.5 volts. She argued with me she couldn't do anything unless I brought the unit to her. Im 2 -3 hrs away from her. She told me to email her the receipt which I did and a statement from my rv machanic. Its been 4 days and she's still not read or replied. Read over all the reviews from this company and dont make the same mistake so many of us did. She is evil and a terrible person.

I had a terrible experience with K & K regarding my Dometic AC, which was only two months out of warranty. Despite Dometic's advice that there is a 90-day window post-warranty where they may extend coverage depending on the issue, K & K's staff were unhelpful and dismissive. They claimed my AC was working at 100% efficiency with a 20-degree delta, but my own measurements showed only a 9-degree difference. As an EPA 608 Type 1 and Type 2 technician, I am well aware of proper diagnostic procedures, yet K & K refused to provide a diagnostic report and instead yelled at me when I questioned their findings. I felt that I wasted my time, money, and energy. We have photos and videos to support our claims and will be sharing them to highlight the discrepancies. Since K & K is one of only two authorized dealers, we have decided to switch to Coleman instead of dealing with this in the future. I strongly advise avoiding this place due to their poor service and unprofessionalism. Stay away, especially if you value accurate diagnostics and respectful service. My advice to the technician: Always be open to learning from people with more experience instead of yelling at customers. Invest in higher quality diagnostic tools. We noticed during the diagnosis you had a cooking thermometer as your diagnostic tool. As a licensed EPA technician, I would recommend the ST4 Dual-Temperature meter. With dual K-Type wrap tab bead thermocouples, you'll never misdiagnose an AC again.
