Make sure you get there super early. They don’t write the correct hours. They locked the doors at 6:22 when they say they close at 7

This is a severely underrated laundromat. I dropped off some bedding and it came back just a few hours later at an extremely affordable price. Not only that, but it was ordered intentionally. The top item of my stack was my waterproof undersheet(I have cats), then my fitted sheet, then my top sheet, then my pillowcases, then my blankets. This meant I could make my bed extremely efficiently afterwards, not having to unpack everything first but just grabbing the top item and going. That small detail speaks volumes to the level of intelligence, experience, and care on the part of the staff here. I would recommend it to a queen.

This used to be my go to spot, but I was disappointed during a recent visit when I saw a customer place her dog on top of one of the tables—right after the dog had peed. The manager witnessed it and didn’t intervene. These tables are meant for folding clothes, not for placing pets.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I used to drop off laundry here, but they gave me back my comforter wet and muddy for some reason. When I came back to ask about it, they told me it was already stained when they received it and even tried bleaching it. This is obviously a lie, because I literally took it to Wave Laundromat a block away and it came out with a single wash. Also it doesn’t explain why they gave me back a wet blanket. The place is also pretty dirty in general, so I wonder how clean my previous drop offs have been 🤢

Chico’s is a nice family owned laundromat. Nothing fancy but run by very nice people. The machines are inexpensive. It costs $3 to launder shirts which isn’t much of a deal but it does the trick. They don’t launder or dry clean any clothes on-premises but neither does any dry cleaner in the area. Chico’s is also conveniently located near the Morgan L which makes it easy to drop off and pick up before and after work.
