Brickyard Imported Car Parts

About the Business

Brickyard Imported Car Parts at 550 S Main St, Brooklyn, IN 46111 isn’t your average local auto shop—it’s more like the place your car wants to be when it’s not on the road. Whether you drive a reliable Toyota, a luxurious Audi, or an older model that’s hard to find parts for, this spot has built its reputation around solving import car issues others often shy away from. You don’t have to be a car enthusiast to appreciate the depth of knowledge and hands-on experience this team brings to the table. From diagnostics to hard-to-find parts, they speak fluent “import.”

Walking into the shop, you’re greeted by the distinct smell of engine oil and rubber—a surprisingly comforting sign that things are being done the old-fashioned way: with tools, grit, and a genuine passion for the craft. The staff aren’t just here to punch a clock; most of them have years, if not decades, of experience under their belts. One customer shared how they searched for over a year for a specific Japanese sensor before stumbling upon Brickyard’s website—three days later, their car was back on the road. That kind of turnaround is rare, especially when dealing with imported systems that local chains tend to avoid.

What really makes this location a standout among other car repair and store hybrids is how integrated their services are. It’s not just a place to buy car parts—they offer diagnostics, repair consultations, and even install what they sell. This one-stop-shop approach saves a ton of time, especially for anyone who’s tired of running between auto parts stores and mechanics. They’ve worked with brands like Bosch and Denso, and their inventory includes both OEM and high-quality aftermarket options, which gives flexibility based on your budget and car’s needs.

Their Google reviews also paint a clear picture—lots of five-star ratings, especially for rare part availability and fair pricing. One review detailed how a customer came in with a European model BMW that local dealers couldn’t help with. Not only did Brickyard have the part in stock, but they also shared tips on preventative maintenance specific to that model, which isn’t something you get from just any shop.

Being located right in Brooklyn, Indiana, makes it convenient for residents in surrounding areas like Mooresville or Monrovia. And it’s not just about convenience; this is the kind of business where word-of-mouth and community trust go hand in hand. It’s easy to see why locals view it as more than just a point of interest—it’s a lifeline for keeping their imports running smoothly.

I've never been here before but they had a single car that seems to be difficult to find in salvage yards. After reading the recent reviews, I was a little skeptical. The guy at the counter just seemed like a no nonsense, straight to the point kind of guy and the donor car appeared to be low mileage with some excellent quality parts on it. The prices were very reasonable and affordable.

The sales man in the front office is very bad , no respect, lack of communication rise his voice if he didn't understand. And trait his client as low people. You should get some else that deserve that position.

I needed a hood for my Honda Accord coupe; they had exactly what I needed in the same color as my car, and they were the best price in at least a 250 mile radius. Steve even sent someone out to check the hood for damage, since I was driving 3 hours to get it. Very helpful; I will definitely keep them in mind if I need more parts!

Best experience at a Junkyard hands down. I seen tons of reviews that made me super sceptical. And the place is definitely on the rough side. But it's that kind of world..either fit in and get along, or get out. Yea you have to pick your own part...it's unfortunate in some ways but understandable giving how noone wants to work. I'm handy and brought tools and gloves and a jack and stand...don't come I'll equipped or you'll be sad...yes you can wait for them to pick ur part, if your hands are soft and fragile..it could take hours though. They are under staffed. The guy helping me was straight to the point and informative on what I needed and how to find it. I got the part I needed Hassle free at this location. I'll always come here for my used Subaru parts Thank you
