I had the potato greens with white rice! It’s really good but they barely give you enough food in the bowl! It’s not ever filled to the top! That super cheap 💩 to do! 🤦🏾‍♀️ African food isn’t cheap either! Give people their moneys worth!

JD African Restaurant has great food and the food is prepared with care. I went into the restaurant with my mom buying food to ship to Florida. That's how good JD's food is. Apparently, Florida doesn't have African Food but we specifically go to JD then anywhere else in the area. Keep up the good work 👍

The food is tasty but the platter is half empty. Why are you not putting the right amount of food in the bowl? I got cassava leaf two times in one week. The first time I gave a pass because it was later in the day but the second time I came as soon as they open and same thing. A small serving. The bowl not even filled to the top. Barely half way. Mainly unknown pieces of meat. Really no cassava. Very disappointing because the flavor is good. Tsk. Side note the guy that takes my order isn’t very welcoming at all.

I absolutely love the greens and rice that this restaurant serves it is very well seasoned with a hint of spiciness. It comes with a side of sweet cornbread. The portion size is also good, but I’ve eaten half of what you see in the picture but you get more than enough rice. There are lots of fresh juices and carbonated drinks. They only take CASH!
