Me and mom visited David’s Tea in Sherway Gardens today. The service was great as usual. It was our first time in this location . But what was different is the sanitation. The lady who was putting tea for us didn’t wear gloves and would put her whole hand in the tea boxes, then put it in our tea bag. When before that she was clicking the computer for payments which is very unsanitary for this kind of service . We still love David’s tea just want this part of the service to be improved.

Really disappointing matcha. I got the iced oat milk one, and they barely put in two scoops for $9. Maybe the hot version is better, but this was not it. The cup was packed with pebble ice that melted almost immediately and completely watered down the drink. They need to add more matcha for the size they’re serving. The colour was so pale. The matcha itself tasted good at first, but within two minutes it turned into slightly sweet matcha-flavoured water. The staff were friendly, but honestly, the recipe or the pricing needs to change. Not worth it for the amount or the quality, especially since they make it without a proper matcha whisk, $9 down the drain.

While the staff are usually friendly and helpful, they can sometimes feel a little overbearing—constantly approaching as you walk by or browse in-store. I don’t blame the employees, as it’s clearly how they’re trained, but it can feel a bit pushy. Overall, it’s a great spot for tea lovers, and I definitely recommend checking it out!

Needed to pick up some of the 911 tea for my cold, so it was just a quick trip. This location is a tiny little store, but, wow, talk about jam packed with products! I got what I was after, and my husband picked himself up some of the ginger tea. It was a really busy little little store, but the sales associate was amazing and efficient. She was cheerful and really helpful, with everyone! We were amazed by the selection of teas available, even with it being a small store. No trouble finding what we were after, and even found some different teas we wanted to try. It wasn't a really quick trip, but it was still a really good experience. As I said it was quite busy, but the sales associate was lovely and very efficient, while taking the time to answer questions and help customers. At no point did it feel rushed, or like she just wanted to get people rushed out. We'll definitely return to this location and would recommend it highly. Even if it's busy, go in! You'll be looked after very well, and out before you know it!

The staff here are wonderful! They're very knowledgable, attentive, and accommodating every time I've visited. Every time I've walked in I've been greeted within a few seconds and assistance is offered without being pushy. Buying loose leaf here is fun and not at all intimidating. They've been lovely about helping me redeem my Frequent Steeper Points, and with sale prices from the website. I wouldn't have a huge stash like this if the product, and staff, weren't amazing!
